There was a gay student that used to date girls his whole life as a way to fit in with society and cultural norms. Recently he got of the closet which confused a lot of people (myself included). I had a chat with a friend who was more sensitive, and he made me understand that being gay, lesbian, transgender or bisexual was not a choice because you cannot choose who you love. As of now, I am more accepting and understanding, as I realise they are just like any other humans, and deserve to be treated as such. I will hopefully change people’s minds, attitudes and beliefs about people who are different. In future, I would like to see change in the whole system and that law can accommodate every single human despite their sexual preferences, orientation or job title.
